2016 Drum Circles

FAVE drum circle line-up this year feature Ann Vannoy, Jeffrey Trower/Community Productions, and Judith Pinkerton! Check the online calendar for admission fees, dates and times, or print out the monthly calendar.

Sacred Rhythms – This sacred circle merges drumming rhythms, meditation and insights to honor connections with loved ones who have passed or may be ill. Facilitated by music therapist Judith Pinkerton who guides you into embracing life. If desired, bring memorabilia of your loved ones to share in the circle.

HealthRHYTHMS – Relax & have fun playing drums creating “in the moment” music & rhythms with REMO HealthRHYTHMS trained drum circle facilitators.  HealthRHYTHMS is a research-based group drumming protocol which has demonstrated significant health benefits, including a boost to the immune system, reduction in stress & burnout rates, and an improvement in mood states.

World Beat Drum Circle & Sound Bath – Featuring Jeffrey Trower and Ann Vannoy,  drum in the best beats to keep you centered, peace-filled and energized featuring world instruments such as singing bowls, gong, and more!

Women’s Drum Circle – Calling all women and girls to drum in community, relieve stress, build self-esteem and support wellness! No experience necessary and everyone has something to offer the circle, facilitated by Ann Vannoy, who started the REMO Recreation Music Center Women’s Drum Circle in 2008 which is still going strong!

Kids Rhythm Club – Kids of all ages- with special abilities inclusion – explore instruments through rhythm with Ann Vannoy and Judith Pinkerton facilitating! Respite vouchers accepted.

Mommy & ME – 3-4-5 year olds with Daddy or other relative welcome to explore rhythm and melody using instruments to build from your child’s natural love of music. Rhythm with imaginative play activities nurture your child’s development. Facilitator Ann Vannoy fosters music appreciation to form a foundation for formal music instruction in the future.
